1. لا تَجبُنَنَّ فَكَم جَبانٍ مُحجِمٍ

    قَد ماتَ مَوتَ الباسِلِ المُتَوَثِّبِ

    Do not be cowardly, for how many cowards recoiled

    Only to die the death of the daring assailant

  2. وَلِيَمنَحَ الأَعداءَ صَلباً صُلَّبا

    وَلِيَسمُ لِلجُلّى بِقَلبٍ قُلَّبِ

    And to grant the enemy an unflinching will

    And to charge ahead with a devoted heart

  3. وَلِيَغدُ في تَعَبٍ يَرُح في راحَةٍ

    إِنَّ الأُمورَ مُريحُها في المُتعِبِ

    And to find rest in toil and comfort in ordeal

    For the relief of matters lies with the toiler
