يا بَها دُرٍّ سُدتَ إِذ كُنتَ مَولىً

لإِمامٍ أَضاءَ للدينِ بَدرا

O pearl of pearls, when you were the patron

Of an Imam who shone like the full moon for religion

لا أُهنِّيكَ بِالمَلابسِ فَاعلَم

بَل أُهَنّي بِكَ المَلابسَ تَترى

I do not congratulate you on your clothes, know

Rather I congratulate the clothes that adorn you

إِن تَكُن خِلعَةً تَزينُ فَهَذِي

زِنتَها وَاكتَسَت بَهاءً وَدُرّا

If it is a robe that beautifies, it has gained

Its elegance and has obtained splendor and pearls from you

إِنَّ قاضي القُضاةِ مَن يَصطَفيهِ

نالَ عِندَ المُلوكِ جاها وَقَدرا

Indeed the Judge of judges, whom He chooses

Has attained, with kings, glory and honor
