I would ransom my grandson with my very soul: he is a moon.
He possesses beauty of form and feature.
Beauty flowed to him from a sun that bore him
a full moon, radiant in glory’s sky.
In him are a mother’s sweetness and a father’s pride;
thus his very form renders both easy to discern and clear.
They named him after a prophet who has no peer
among the prophets—so he is praised and thanked.
