وَمُدَامَةٍ صَفْراءَ في قارورَةٍ

وَمُدَامَةٍ صَفْراءَ في قارورَةٍ

زَرْقاءَ تَحْمِلُها يَدٌ بَيْضاءُ

زَرْقاءَ تَحْمِلُها يَدٌ بَيْضاءُ

And golden wine within a flask

A golden liquor in a blue bottle,

of blue, borne by a hand of white:

Held by a white hand.

فَالرّاحُ شَمْسٌ والحَبَابُ كَوَاكِبٌ

فَالرّاحُ شَمْسٌ والحَبَابُ كَوَاكِبٌ

والكَفُّ قُطْبٌ والإِناءُ سَماءُ

والكَفُّ قُطْبٌ والإِناءُ سَماءُ

the wine is a sun, its bubbles stars;

The wind is the sun, bubbles are stars,

the palm a celestial pole, the vessel sky.

The palm is the pole, the vessel the sky.
