ما السخط والبخل من طبعي ولا خلقي

اللَه يعلم فيما أدّعى صدقي

I have no spite or stinginess in my nature or manners

God knows if I speak the truth in what I claim

كفيلي اللَه في أمري وفي رزقي

فلست محتاجاً من ورق ولا ورق

God guarantees my affairs and provisions

So I need no paper money or coins

ما قدر اللَه قدره كيف في حقي

أستغفر اللَه في صمتي وفي نطقي

Whatever God decrees for me, that's my right

I ask God's forgiveness in my silence and speech

فكم سعد بي بلطف اللَه من خلق

تبارك اللَه كم يسعد وكم يشقى

How many people has God's kindness made happy through me

Blessed is God, how many are happy and how many miserable

ولست أسأم من حلم ومن رفق

وإن بقي ودّكم أو لم يكون بقي

And I do not tire of patience and gentleness

Whether your affection remains or does not remain
