1. يا ساكنين وادي النقا

    ما بين عيديد ودمّون

    O dwellers of Wadi al-Naqa

    Between Aydid and Dammun

  2. أدعو لكم طول البقا

    أن لا يريكم ربنا هون

    I wish you long life

    May God not humiliate you

  3. قلبي لكم متشوّقا

    وفي رباكم صار مرهون

    My heart longs for you

    And is held ransom for your well-being

  4. متى يكون الملتقى

    لعلّ يسلو كلّ محزون

    When will we meet

    So every sorrowful one can find solace

  5. رعيا لأيام مضت

    ما بين حوطتها وسرجيس

    Thinking of days past

    Between Hawtat and Sargis

  6. فكم بها غيد زهت

    كادت تفاخر حسن بلقيس

    How splendid they were

    Rivaling the beauty of Bilqis

  7. ما البدر ما الشمس إن بدت

    ما ريم رامه ما الطواويس

    Neither the full moon nor the sun when appearing

    Nor Rim nor rams nor peacocks

  8. العاليات المرتقى

    فكم بها من صبّ مفتون

    The highlands and ascents

    Where many a lover melts

  9. يا أهل بيت المصطفى

    يا أهل الهداية والمعارف

    O people of the Prophet's house

    O people of guidance and knowledge

  10. كم فيكم صوفي صفا

    ومنكم كم حبر عارف

    How many pure Sufis among you

    And how many scholar and mystic

  11. يا أهل الأمانة الوفا

    وأهل الكتب وأهل المصاحف

    O people of loyalty and faithfulness

    People of the Books and of the Scriptures

  12. وأهل العبادة والتقى

    بكم جميع الناس يدعون

    People of piety and reverence

    For whom all people pray

  13. ولا يزول عني الكدر

    إلا إذا زرت أهل بكدر

    I find no relief from anxiety

    Except when I visit Bekdour

  14. وأهل الفريط المشتهر

    وقبة الشيخ المنوّر

    And Fray and its famous mosque

    And the luminous dome of the Sheikh

  15. العيدروس بحر الدرر

    ليث الضراغيم الغضنفر

    Al-Aydarus, ocean of pearls

    Lion of warriors and knight

  16. من حبهم ما رأى شقا

    الشيخ عبد اللَه وسعدون

    Of their love he saw no misery

    Sheikh Abdullah and Saadoun
