  1. إن تختبرني حبيبي

    فأنت مني بي أعلم

    If you test me, my beloved

    You are more knowing of me, than I

  2. على الغضب والتجافي

    أو الرضا لست أهتم

    Whether in anger or aloofness

    Or in pleasure, I care not

  3. هذا لعلمي بأني

    مني بي أشفق وأرحم

    For I know that from you

    Comes the most compassion and mercy

  4. نعم وان شئت أمرا

    فأمرك أقهر وأحكم

    Yes, if you wish a thing

    Your wish I submit to and obey

  5. إذا قضاؤك إلهي

    أمرا بقدرتك مبرم

    If your decree, my God

    Is a matter of your power, determined

  6. فما التأسف على شيء

    وقول لم لا ولو لم

    Then why grieve over anything

    Or say, no, or if only, no

  7. فما بقي غيى تفويض

    أمري وتسليمي أسلم

    What remains except surrender

    And submission, I submit

  8. ان كنت أحدثت ذنباً

    فجودك أسبق واقدم

    If I have sinned

    Your generosity is first and before

  9. أو كان ذنبي عظيم

    فرحمتك بي أعظم

    Or if my sin was great

    Your mercy for me is greater

  10. لو قسمت رحمتك ربي

    على الذنوب حين تقسم

    If you divided your mercy, my Lord

    Among sins when you divide

  11. لكان رحمتك أربى

    منها وأعظم وأجسم

    Your mercy would be more plentiful

    Greater and more abundant

  12. من جاك مومن حقيقة

    فأنت بالسرّ تعلم

    Whoever comes to you a true believer

    You know in private

  13. ومنك الفضل كله

    وأنت أجود وأكرم

    And from you is all bounty

    You are the most generous and noble

  14. حاشاك أن تقصينه

    وإن هو أذنب وأجرم

    It is unworthy of you to deprive him

    Even if he sinned and transgressed

  15. دأبي أبؤ لك بذنبي

    وأنت دأبك تكرم

    My way is to confess my sin to you

    And your way is nobility

  16. فالخير منك جميعه

    والشرّ مني مع الذمّ

    All good is from you

    And evil from me, with blame

  17. ظلمت نفسي بذنبي

    ومن ظلم نفسه أظلم

    I have wronged myself with my sin

    And whoever wrongs himself does greatest wrong

  18. أستغفرك من أواخر

    ذنبي ومما تقدّم

    I ask your forgiveness for the end

    Of my sin and what came before

  19. ربي بك أحسنت ظني

    فانه خير مغنم

    My Lord, in you I have good expectation

    For it is the best gain

  20. وانه الكنز الأكبر

    وأنه الاسم الأعظم

    And it is the greatest treasure

    And it is the Greatest Name

  21. فلا تخيب رجائي

    من كلّ فضل ومغنم

    So do not disappoint my hope

    Of all virtue and gain

  22. أخي إذا أذنبت ذنباً

    فتب إلى اللَه واندم

    My brother, if you commit a sin

    Repent to God and regret

  23. من دام للباب قارعاً

    لمدخله ليس يعدم

    Whoever remains knocking at a door

    Will not be deprived of its entrance

  24. تمت وصلي المهيمن

    على محمد وسلم

    It is complete, I pray protection

    Upon Muhammad and send peace

  25. هو آخر الرّسل بعثا

    وفي الفضيله مقدّم

    He is last of the messengers in being sent

    And in virtue, first
