The history of Sadr ad-Din, son of as-Sadr

Ascended the ether of virtue, the peak of pride

سفر حوى مآثر العرب التي

قد اسفرت عن النجوم الزهر

A book that contained the feats of the Arabs

That had blossomed from the stars of flowers

فمن فتوح كتب النصر بها

تاريخ مجد بيمين النصر

So from the conquests he wrote of victory

A history of glory by the right hand of triumph

ما هو الا روضة تضوعت

ازهارها غب انسجام القطر

It is but a garden, flourishing

Its flowers from the falling of rain

ما هو الا جوهر تناسقت

اسلاكه فهو نظام الدرر

It is but a jewel, arranged

Its strands thus an order of pearls
