  1. The Sun of Learning has grown radiant in her splendor,

    when she illumined the heaven of knowledge and letters.

  2. She gleams from the orient of letters, in a firmament

    with Ibrahim alone for its pole.

  3. She seems, a maiden in the freshness of her charms,

    to smile, revealing dewy pearls and the cool sweetness of her teeth.
