أراكِ اللّه يا ذلفاء ما قد

لقيه قَعْنَبٌ يوم الهَنيَّهْ

May God show you, O Dhalfā, what

I see you O Dhulfa, what befell

Qaʿnab suffered on the day of al-Haniyya:

Qanaab the day of celebration

غدا يبغي النكاح فعاد فيه

أيور كالعصيّ مُهَلَّبيَّهْ

أيور كالعصيّ مُهَلَّبيَّهْ

He went out seeking intercourse, but came back with

Tomorrow he seeks marriage but returns in it

Muhallabid cocks inside him, stiff as cudgels.

Limping like a battered stick

تشقّق دبره ويقول هذا

تشقّق دبره ويقول هذا

جزاء ذوي التلوّط بالَّنسّيَهْ

جزاء ذوي التلوّط بالَّنسّيَهْ
