رِكَ كيفَ اهتَدَيتُ سُبلَ الطَّريقِ
How strange of me: having passed by the traces—
—you left, how did I find the paths of the road?
أتُرانِي نَسيتُ عهدَكَ فيها
صَدَقوا ما لِميِّتٍ مِن صَديقِ
Do you suppose I forgot my covenant with you there?
