كشَفَ الرَّجاءُ لأُعينِ ال

كشَفَ الرَّجاءُ لأُعينِ ال

عافينَ صَفحةَ باسِمِ

عافينَ صَفحةَ باسِمِ

Hope unveiled, before the eyes of the

favor-seekers, Bāsim’s countenance.

فَتباشَرُوا ما بَينَهم

فَتباشَرُوا ما بَينَهم

بقدُومِ سَعدٍ قادِمِ

بقدُومِ سَعدٍ قادِمِ

So they shared glad tidings among themselves

at Saʿd’s arrival—good fortune arriving—

وزيادةٍ في مكرُما

وزيادةٍ في مكرُما

تِ عَليٍّ بنِ القاسِمِ

تِ عَليٍّ بنِ القاسِمِ

and at an increase in the noble

deeds of ʿAlī ibn al-Qāsim.
