Perhaps youth will deny me
When one who sees me recalls it, I call out
So I am guided to speak my thoughts
While they came rushing and staggering
I was walking by the river, heading
From the gate and bridge, wandering
A rider appeared, so I raised my eyes
Above him was the crescent moon of Jumada
So I pronounced the Takbir twice, while the
People around me pronounced it individually
