A man whose open hand has left him no wealth;
A man of leisure who had no youth
from him both giving and deprivation are known—
Known for his generosity and self-denial
and an ambition that made one who sought him imagine,
And an ambition that made its seeker imagine
when his stature rose among the heights,
When he rose high with glory
that to their own Solomon would concede
That Solomon in his own kingdom
kingship, within his own kingdom—Solomon.
Would acknowledge his sovereignty, Solomon himself
