من قبل أن تأتي القِيامَه

من قبل أن تأتي القِيامَه

A gazelle has raised up my resurrection

My gazelle resurrected me

Before the Resurrection comes.

Before the day of resurrection comes

عَطَبُ القُلوبِ جُفُونُه

عَطَبُ القُلوبِ جُفُونُه

فعَلامَ سمَّوه سَلامَه

فعَلامَ سمَّوه سَلامَه

His eyelids are the ruin of hearts—

The hearts' yearning has dried its eyes

So why did they name him Salāmah—“Safety”?

So why is it called peace?
