I praise God, on your account, for the state in which
I praised Allah for granting me
the happiest stroke of fortune is not diminished:
Good fortune that cannot be diminished
the man whose death I had been hoping for has died;
He who I wished would die has died
he is dead, perished, and does not breathe.
So he is dead, destroyed, no longer breathing
And the person most entitled to his estate
And most deserving of his inheritance
is Akhras, coveting the estate of a mute.
Is a mute who hopes to inherit from another mute
