O grave, you have remained filled
With the abundant rain of life with heavy downpour
They buried in your soil the most generous corpse
Empty between him, death, and me
Of a father who was to me compassionate and merciful
May he be rewarded for his kindness and bounty over me
I will cry for him as long as I live even if
My crying over him is of no benefit
He has attained from his Lord an honourable station
That the wishful one wishes for his place
I said when he passed away and I dated it:
You have attained, Abdel Wahab, the gardens of Eden
