1. O dwelling of the noble lords, there have alighted

within you illustrious men from the nobles of Adnan.

  2. Their faces have shone within you like moons,

and indeed they surpass them in beauty and benevolence.

  3. And you, O you who let your gaze roam then,

are amid a paradise adorned by them, and a garden.

  4. Beauty is harmonious therein, and it differs

only in the forms and colors of its flowers.

  5. With every delightful kind it has sprouted and flourished,

reviving the soul amid repose and fragrant bounty.

  6. For, by your righteous father, it has been built

as a house of joy for loved ones and brethren.

  7. Blessed be this house of noble lords—its date inscribed:

“May Salman’s house flourish through Salman.”
