1. سَعِدتْ نجدٌ إذا وافيتَ نجدا

    بقدومٍ منك إقبالاً وسَعْدا

    Najd rejoiced when you came to Najd

    With your arrival, prosperity and joy increased

  2. وإذا أصبحتَ في أحسائها

    قيل للشرّ عن الأَحساء بُعْدا

    And when you reached its towns

    Evil was banished far from Al-Ahsa

  3. أقبل الخير عليها كلُّه

    منجزاً فيك بلطف الله وعدا

    All goodness descended upon it

    Fulfilling your kindness and promise from God

  4. وأَراد الله أنْ يعصمها

    من شرار كادتْ الأَخيار كيدا

    And God wanted to protect it

    From the evil of those who almost deceived the righteous

  5. كانَ كالضائع ملكاً هُملاً

    فاستردَّ الملك أهلوه فَرُدَّا

    It was like a neglected kingdom

    Until the King restored it and it was regained

  6. إذ تصدَّيت لأمرٍ لم نجد

    قبل علياك له من يتصدَّى

    When you took on a matter we did not find

    Anyone before you who would undertake it

  7. منجداً مستنجداً أنقذته

    بفريق صالح سارَ مجدا

    Saving Najd that sought help

    With a righteous brigade that marched gloriously

  8. ورجالٍ أنت قد أعددتهم

    يوم تلقى الأُسدُ في الهيجاء أُسْدا

    And men you had prepared

    When the lion met lions in Al-Hijaz

  9. كلّ مقام إلى الحرب يرى

    شكر نعمائك فرضاً أنْ يؤدَّى

    Every battlefront sees

    Gratitude for your blessings as an obligation to fulfill

  10. كاللواء المقدم الشهم الَّذي

    كانَ في الهيجاء لا يألوك جهدا

    Like the glorious standard that

    Never stopped striving for you in Al-Hijaz

  11. وفريق نفذت أحكامه

    بالَّذي تأمره حلاًّ وعقدا

    And the brigade that carried out

    Your orders, dissolving and binding

  12. والسَّعيد السّيّد الشهم الَّذي

    كانَ من اسعد خلق الله جدا

    And the fortunate master, the valiant

    Who was the happiest of God's creations

  13. إنَّما التوفيق والإِسعاد ما

    برحا سيفاً لعلياك وزندا

    Success and prosperity were always

    Your sword and spear for Ali

  14. جرّبوا الأيام سخطاً ورضاً

    وَبَلَوْا أهوالها شيباً ومردا

    They tested the days, anger and pleasure

    And endured its terrors, aging and death

  15. بذلوا أنفسهم في خدمة

    أورَثَتْهم بعدها عزًّا ومجدا

    They sacrificed themselves in service

    Leaving them honor and glory thereafter

  16. بعقول لم تزل مشرقة

    وسيوف تحصد الأَعمار حصدا

    With minds that never ceased to shine

    And swords that reaped lives

  17. فعلت آراؤهم ما لو جرى

    معها العضب اليمانيّ لأكدى

    Their views accomplished what would have

    Swept away the oceans if they flowed

  18. عامَلوا باللّطف منهم أمَّةً

    لم تجد من طاعة السلطان بدَّا

    They dealt with the people with kindness

    Who found no alternative but to obey authority

  19. جلبت طايعهم عن رغبة

    حين أقصت من أبى الطَّاعة طردا

    Their obedience brought those who

    Were expelled for disobeying, back

  20. صدقوا الله على ما عاهدوا

    إنَّهم لم ينقضوا في الله عَهْدا

    They were true to God in what they pledged

    Never violating a pledge to God

  21. شَمِلَتْهُمْ منك باستخدامهم

    أنْعُمٌ تترك حُرَّ القوم عبدا

    Your appointment of them included

    Favors that left the noble people slaves

  22. ولَعمري ليس بالمغبون من

    يشتري منك الرضا بالروح نقدا

    By my life, those pleased with you

    Are not cheated when buying your approval with their souls

  23. لمزايا خصَّك الله بها

    أكثرَ الناسُ لها شكراً وحمدا

    For merits God endowed you with

    Most people thank and praise Him more

  24. يا مشيراً بالذي يرشدنا

    إنَّما أنتَ بطرق الرُّشد أهدى

    O advisor, guide us to what guides us

    You are more guided to the paths of righteousness

  25. كلّ ما جئت به مبتكر

    من عموم النفع فعلاً يتعدَّى

    All the beneficial innovations you brought

    Spread good deeds far and wide

  26. فاركب البحرَ وخض لُجَّتَهُ

    يا شبيه البحر يوم الجود مدَّا

    So sail the ocean and brave its waves

    O one who resembles the sea in generosity

  27. وانظر الملك الَّذي استنقذته

    واجرِ ترتيبك فيه مستبدا

    And see the King you restored

    Organize his affairs unrestrained

  28. يتلقَّاك بأعلى همَّةٍ

    فتُحيَّا بالتَّهاني وتُفدَّى

    He awaits you with the highest resolve

    Greeted with congratulations and hospitality

  29. قد أقَرَّتْ واستقرَّت عندما

    زجرت طائرك الميمون سعدا

    Things settled down and stabilized

    When you rebuked the ill omens, good fortune arrived

  30. أصْبَحْت في عيشة راضية

    وبأيَّامك نلقى العيش رغدا

    Life became pleasant and agreeable

    And through you we found abundant livelihood

  31. يسَّر اللهُ لم الأمر كما

    ينبغي لطفاً وإحساناً وقصدا

    May God facilitate this matter as

    Is fitting, with kindness, favor, and purpose

  32. لا دم سالَ ولا دمعٌ جرى

    وكفاها ربّك الخصمَ الألدَّا

    No blood was shed nor tears flowed

    Your Lord sufficed over the hostile opponent

  33. يهنك السيف الَّذي أُهدي من

    ملك أهداه إنعاماً وأسدى

    The sword gifted to you by the King gladdens you

    He gifted it to you generously

  34. لستُ أدري سيِّدي أيَّكما

    هو أمضى إذ يكون الروع حدا

    I do not know which of the two

    Is sharper when dreadful rumors swirl

  35. كلَّما جرّدته من غمده

    كانَ برقاً في أياديك ورعدا

    Whenever you unsheathe it

    It is lightning in your hands and thunder

  36. وإذا أغْمَدْتَهُ كانَ له

    هام من يعصيك في الهيجاء غمدا

    And when you sheathe it

    It has authority over those in Al-Hijaz who disobey you

  37. دُمْتَ للدَّولة عَيناً ويَداً

    والحسامَ العضبَ والركنَ الأشدَّا

    You are pillar and hand of the state

    The cutting sword and sturdiest pillar

  38. دولة قد أيَّدت واتَّخذت

    من جنود الله أنصاراً وجندا

    A state supported and utilized

    God's soldiers as supporters and troops

  39. ويميناً إنَّها إن صَدَمَتْ

    جبلاً بالبأس منها خرَّ هدَّا

    A right hand, if it were to strike

    A mountain, it would crumble

  40. أَو أَتَت نار عدوٍّ أُوقِدَت

    لأَحالت حَرَّ تلك النار بردا

    Or if it brought fire to an enemy

    It would cool the heat of that fire

  41. يا لك الله هماماً بالذي

    يَدْحَضُ الغيَّ وما جانب رشدا

    O courageous one, nullifying misguidance

    And whatever deviates from righteousness

  42. مرُّ طعم السُّخط حلويّ النَّدى

    يجتني المشتار من أيدي شهدا

    The taste of anger is sweet cold dew

    That the consulted one milks from hands of honor

  43. ما رأتْ عيناي أندى راحة

    منك في الجود ولا أثقب زندا

    My eyes have not seen comfort more pleasing

    Than your generosity, nor a sharper spear

  44. راحة الدُّنيا وناهيك به

    مخلصٌ لله ما أخفى وأبدى

    Comfort of life, but leaving that aside

    A devotee of God, hidden and revealed

  45. فلوَ انِّي فُزت في أنظاره

    جعلت بيني وبين البؤس سدَّا

    If I gained favor in His eyes

    I would erect a barrier between misery and myself

  46. أنت كالدُّنيا إذا ما أقبلَتْ

    لامرئٍ والدهر إعراضاً وصَدَّا

    You are like life when it draws near

    To someone, while fate opposed and rejected him

  47. أنتَ أسنى نِعَم الله الَّتي

    نحنُ لا نحصي لها حصراً وعدَّا

    You are the best of God's blessings

    That we cannot quantify or limit

  48. لك في النَّاس على الناس يدٌ

    نظمت في جيد هذا الدهر عقدا

    You have a hand over the people, over the people

    That threaded this age's necklace

  49. فقدت وجدان ما نحذره

    لا أراعتنا بك الأيام فقدا

    We lost certainty of what we fear

    Since the days have not feared loss through you

  50. فعلى الأَقطار مُذْ وُلِّيتَها

    ظلُّك الضافي على الأَقطار مُدَّا

    So the horizons since you took them over

    Your nourishing shade covered the horizons

  51. فتوجَّه حيثُ ما شئت لكَي

    تملأَ السَّاحل إحساناً ورفدا

    So go wherever you wish in order

    To fill the coast with favor and arrival

  52. في أمان الله محفوظاً به

    تصحب النصر ذهاباً ومردَّا

    Protected by God, with victory accompanying

    Your coming and going
