هتفات الكِرْوان بالليل تترى

ومعاني الربيع نورًا وعطرا

The night calls of the caravan in succession

And the meanings of spring, light and fragrance

وجمال الحياة حبّاً وحسناً

وشباباً يفيض عطفاً وبِشرا

And the beauty of life, love and charm

And overflowing youth, kindness and good news

بتُّ أُصغي لها وأقبس منها

ثم ترجمتُها لمن شاء شعرا

I listen to them and take from them

Then translate them for those who wish for poetry
