عَواقبoutcomes مِحنةordeal الإِنسانthe human being خَيرٌa blessing
عَواقب مِحنة الإِنسان خَيرٌ
بِهِwith it المَولىthe Lord حَباfavored الرَجلthe man الكَريماnoble
بِهِ المَولى حَبا الرَجل الكَريما
The outcomes of a person's ordeal are a blessing
The consequences of man's tribulation are good,
with which the Lord has favored the noble man.
Through it the Lord endowed the noble man.
فَموسىfor Moses بَعدafter ماthat لَسَعَتهُscorched him نارٌa fire
فَموسى بَعد ما لَسَعَتهُ نارٌ
بِفيهِin his mouth كانَwas لِلمَولىto the Lord كَليماan interlocutor
بِفيهِ كانَ لِلمَولى كَليما
For Moses, after fire had scorched him
So Moses, after fire had burned his mouth,
in his mouth, became one with whom the Lord spoke.
By it became the Lord's confidant.
