مؤدّبtutor الأَطفالthe children أَهدىmost discerning اِمرئa man
مؤدّب الأَطفال أَهدى اِمرئ
قَدindeed أَجمَعunanimously agreed الناسthe people عَلىon فضلِهِhis merit
قَد أَجمَع الناس عَلى فضلِهِ
The children's tutor is the most discerning of men.
The teacher of children gifted a man
The people have unanimously agreed on his merit.
People agreed on his virtue
تَمنحهgive him الأَطفالthe children مِنof نيلهاtheir bounty
تَمنحه الأَطفال مِن نيلها
وَيَمنَحand he gives الأَطفالthe children مِنof عَقلِهِhis intellect
وَيَمنَح الأَطفال مِن عَقلِهِ
The children give him of their bounty,
Children grant him from their joy
And he gives the children of his intellect.
And he grants children from his intellect
