The arrowheads of calamities deal deadly blows
The swords of events, their blows
to us; their volleys take and spare.
Strike us, and the struggle takes and leaves.

So here I am, your servant, and life is hard.
So here I am, your slave, with a constricted life,
I pour out my sorrow before you and complain
I pour out my sorrow before you and complain

And rendered my tale incoherent and the situation dire.
So I stood at your door, asking for favor.
