Taha, noblest of messengers, is the most promising means of approach,
I beseech the best of messengers, Taha, the most generous of prophets
Our intercessor, who guided us along the clearest paths;
Our intercessor who guided us, the clearest of paths

And he is the greatest blessing for one with hope;
And greatest blessing to the hopeful

And he is succor and rain, pouring forth the dew
He is help and rain overflowing with bounty
Of his fingertips in every heavy shower and downpour.
Whose palms rain plenty and never withhold

And he is the one: when we seek intercession through his sanctity
When we beseech him for his sanctity
And his standing, the misery of anguish and dread vanishes.
And status, misery and anguish disappear

Through the decrees of his wisdom, justice made clear to us
He demonstrated to us justice from the judgements of his wisdom
What had been obscure amid the uncertainties of this calamity.
What was of doubt in this matter is no longer unclear

Till it grew straight, becoming the best of straight paths.

The integrity of opinion has protected me from error

His noble traits are generosity from bounty
And whose nature is justice and fairness toward his servants.
And his nature is justice and fairness in private and public

He inspires hope and fear, and pardons as one with power,
He is hoped for and feared, so he pardons with the pardon of the Capable
As a favor, and bestows the bounty of a pouring rainstorm.
And grants the downpour of rain clouds generously

Until it came to be that the tongue of the age praises him
Filling the dwellings, and filling plain and mountain.
It filled the meadows and mountains and plains

I hoped for certain that he would have mercy on me
So I passed the night, my heart free of the anguish of cares.
So I spent the night while my heart was freed of worries

I trusted the one whose bounty is hoped for; never
I thought well of the one I hoped would pardon
Were my hopes disappointed, thanks to his unceasing kindness.
And my hopes in his lasting kindness were not dashed

And God knows best the pure from the dross.
Yet God knows best what is pure and impure

They secretly plotted against me, but the Overseer
Kinds of cunning and trickery are concealed.
No schemes or tricks are hidden from Him

I protected their homelands until they became
Safe from the foe, whether settled or on the move.
A secure sanctuary, in settled lands and nomadic trails

What was written on the tablet since the beginning of time

My imprisonment has been long, and worries persist
Have parted ways: cares unbroken, patience severed.

My Master, show kindness to this lowly one, for
The strain of poverty and illness has sapped my endurance.
Patience has been weakened by poverty and illness
