Ibn Kharshum’s tomb is a voyager’s ship,
The tomb of Ibn Khurshum is a ship sailing
Through the seas of God’s bounty, on the most successful course.
On the seas of God's abundant grace towards the best of goals

It sailed, and the winds of longing were the Almighty’s summons
The winds of longing blew, answering the call of the Able One
To His servant; and triumph is the servant’s response.
To His servant, and success is the servant's response

He raised the sail of resolve in the seas of guidance,
He set up the sail of resolve on the seas of guidance
And cast the anchors of prudence at the shore of sound judgment.
And anchored the ropes of wisdom on the coast of integrity

And he plunged into no depths but those of pardon and favor,
He sailed only on the swell of pardon and consent
And he came to rest—record the date—nowhere but in the Garden of Eternity.
And berthed only in the harbor of eternity
