مِن رَوض حُسن أَينَعَت أَزهارُهُ
I would give my life for the one who came to me with a bouquet
I sacrifice myself for the one who brought me
From a garden of beauty whose flowers had bloomed.
A bouquet from the garden where its flowers bloomed

خَدُّ الحَبيب وَثَغرهُ وَعذارُهُ
So the roses and stock flowers, together with its sweet basil,
Of roses, jasmine, sweet basil together
Are the beloved’s cheek, his mouth, and his cheek-down.
The cheeks of my beloved, his lips, his temple
