أَنتَ يا مَولى المَوالي حَسبنا

God, God, God, God, our Lord.

Oh Allah, Oh Allah, Oh Allah, Oh Lord

You, O Master of masters, are enough for us.

You, O Master of masters, are enough for us

جد لَنا بِالعَفو يا مَولى الملا

جد لَنا بِالعَفو يا مَولى الملا

فَلعظم الذَنب قَد زادَ البلا

فَلعظم الذَنب قَد زادَ البلا

Be generous to us with pardon, O Master of the multitude.

Bestow forgiveness upon us, O Master of the exalted assembly

For affliction has grown because of sin's enormity.

For the enormity of sin has increased affliction

دهم الأَمر فَلا حَول وَلا

دهم الأَمر فَلا حَول وَلا

فَعسى بِالعَفو يُمحى ذَنبنا

فَعسى بِالعَفو يُمحى ذَنبنا

The ordeal has struck, so there is no power, nor...

The matter has become dire, there is no power or might

So may our sin be erased through pardon.

Except through forgiveness may our sins be erased

يا إِلَهي بِالرَسول المُصطَفى

يا إِلَهي بِالرَسول المُصطَفى

نور عَين النورِ في سرّ الخَفا

نور عَين النورِ في سرّ الخَفا

O my God, by the Chosen Messenger,

Oh my God, by the chosen messenger

Light of the essence of light within the mystery of the hidden,

The light of lights, the secret of the unseen

كُن لَنا في كُلّ هَول مُسعفا

كُن لَنا في كُلّ هَول مُسعفا

وَمُجيراً حينَ يَنمو كربنا

وَمُجيراً حينَ يَنمو كربنا

Be a helper to us in every terror,

Be for us in every horror a helper

And a protector when our anguish grows.

And protector when our sorrows grow

بِكَ يا مَولاي أحسنا الرَجا

بِكَ يا مَولاي أحسنا الرَجا

وَلنا بابك أَعلى مُرتَجى

وَلنا بابك أَعلى مُرتَجى

In You, O my Master, we have cherished good hope,

Through You, my Master, our hope is good

And Your door is our loftiest hope.

And Your door is the highest aspiration

هَب لَنا مِن كُلّ ضيق مَخرَجا

هَب لَنا مِن كُلّ ضيق مَخرَجا

وَغِنىً تشرقُ فيهِ شهبنا

وَغِنىً تشرقُ فيهِ شهبنا

Grant us a way out of every distress,

Grant us escape from every strait

And abundance in which our shooting stars shine.

And riches in which our stars shine

بأجلّ الخَلق ختم المُرسلين

بأجلّ الخَلق ختم المُرسلين

أَحمد المَخصوص بِالفَتح المُبين

أَحمد المَخصوص بِالفَتح المُبين

By the noblest of creation, the seal of the messengers,

By the noblest of creation, the seal of messengers

Ahmad, favored with manifest victory,

Ahmad, singled out with clear victory

وَفّق اللهمَّ حزب المُؤمنين

وَفّق اللهمَّ حزب المُؤمنين

لِيَنال الفَوز عزّاً حزبنا

لِيَنال الفَوز عزّاً حزبنا

O God, grant success to the company of believers,

Enable, O Allah, the party of the faithful

So that our company may attain triumph in glory.

That our party may attain honor and triumph

أمّة الإِسلام رَبّي وفّقا

أمّة الإِسلام رَبّي وفّقا

لِنَرى نور هُداهم مُشرِقا

لِنَرى نور هُداهم مُشرِقا

Grant success, my Lord, to the community of Islam,

The nation of Islam, enable them, my Lord

So that we may see the light of their guidance shining.

That we may see the light of their guidance shining

وَاِمنَح اللهمَّ عَفواً وَتُقى

وَاِمنَح اللهمَّ عَفواً وَتُقى

وَوِداداً فيهِ يَنمو حُبّنا

وَوِداداً فيهِ يَنمو حُبّنا

And grant, O God, pardon and piety,

And grant, O Allah, pardon and piety

And affection in which our love grows.

And affection in which grows our love

وَعَلى المُختار خَير الأَصفيا

وَعَلى المُختار خَير الأَصفيا

أَوّل الخَلق خِتام الأَنبيا

أَوّل الخَلق خِتام الأَنبيا

And upon the Chosen One, best of the elect,

And upon the Chosen One, best of the purified

First of creation, last of the prophets,

First of creation, seal of prophets

صَلَوات اللَه ما حَيّا الحَيا

صَلَوات اللَه ما حَيّا الحَيا

رَوضة حَجَّ إِلَيها رَكبُنا

رَوضة حَجَّ إِلَيها رَكبُنا

Be God's blessings, so long as the rain greets

Blessings of Allah as long as life remains

A garden to which our caravan made pilgrimage.

A meadow to which our mounts travelled

وَعَلى الآل وَصَحب سرمدا

وَعَلى الآل وَصَحب سرمدا

هُم حُماة الدين أَعلام الهُدى

هُم حُماة الدين أَعلام الهُدى

And upon his family and companions forever;

And upon his family and companions forever

They are the guardians of the faith, the banners of guidance.

They are the protectors of religion, signs of guidance

وَعَلى كُلِّ وَليٍّ ما شَدا

وَعَلى كُلِّ وَليٍّ ما شَدا

مُنشد أَو هام وَجداً صبّنا

مُنشد أَو هام وَجداً صبّنا

And upon every saint, as long as song is sung

And upon every saint who ever strove

By a chanter, or our lovesick one wanders in rapture.

Yearning or wandering, the fervor of our love poured forth
