I say to one whose two eyes toy with me—
With my very mind—“This is indeed the magic of eyelids.
فَدَيتكmay I be your ransom لَوif only سحرتyou would bewitch نهىreason عذوليmy reproacher

May I be your ransom! If only you would bewitch my reproacher’s reason!”
He said, “If you wish, then from my eyes it shall be.”
