حَيِّ المَنازل وَاِنزل في مَغانيها

حَيِّ المَنازل وَاِنزل في مَغانيها

وَاِشهد جَمال المَعالي مِن مَعانيها

وَاِشهد جَمال المَعالي مِن مَعانيها

Salute the dwellings and alight in their precincts.

And behold in their meanings the beauty of lofty honors.

يا حسن دار بَناها لِلوُفود بَنو

يا حسن دار بَناها لِلوُفود بَنو

حَمادة فَغَدا حَمدي يُواليها

حَمادة فَغَدا حَمدي يُواليها

How lovely a house, built for guests by the sons of

Hamada! And so my praise attends it unceasingly.

أَعلى عليّ مَعالي عزّها فَغَدَت

أَعلى عليّ مَعالي عزّها فَغَدَت

تَسمو بعزِّ مَعاليه مَعاليها

تَسمو بعزِّ مَعاليه مَعاليها

Ali raised the heights of its glory, and so

Its heights came to soar through the glory of his eminence.

حَتّى إِذا ما بِحَمد اللَه تمَّ لَهُ

حَتّى إِذا ما بِحَمد اللَه تمَّ لَهُ

بِناؤُها وَبَدَت تَزهو مَبانيها

بِناؤُها وَبَدَت تَزهو مَبانيها

When at last—praise be to God—there was completed for him

Its construction, and its buildings appeared resplendent,

في بابها لاحَ سَعد أَرخوه تَلا

في بابها لاحَ سَعد أَرخوه تَلا

عزٌّ يَدوم وَتَوفيق لِبانيها

عزٌّ يَدوم وَتَوفيق لِبانيها

At its gate good fortune shone and recited: “Date it:

Glory enduring, and success for its builder.”
