Take the solution to the puzzle of the figures I have indicated

in five verses of poetry—may you attain eminence.

And take the symbols of the propositions from the initial letters

of the words in them, and you will attain your goal.

Thus kāf denotes the universal affirmative; its negative is

lām, while sīn is assigned to the particular negative.

And bāʾ denotes the particular affirmative; these are four.

Through them, the moods of the figure have been made clear.

He who suffices you is enough for you; be for God a full moon of guidance.

The perfection of your devotion to the Lord is the noblest loyalty.

Your perfection is virtue enough; how much splendor it has clothed you in!

Entrust an oppressor's malice to Him who suffices all who ask.

Be perfect, one whose passion has been for piety,

likewise devoted to godliness, neither weary nor idle.

The fulfillment of your plea to the Lord through His chosen one,

the Seal of the Prophets, is to seal a deed with piety.
