الملك لِلّه من شاءَ الإِلَه بِهِ

الملك لِلّه من شاءَ الإِلَه بِهِ

خَيراً فَبِالعَدل وَالإِحسان عَدَّله

خَيراً فَبِالعَدل وَالإِحسان عَدَّله

Sovereignty belongs to God; whomever God wishes

The kingdom is God's; whom God wills,

well, He sets aright through justice and benevolence.

With justice and kindness He righted.

فَالعَدل مِن غَير فَضل لا اِعتِداد بِهِ

فَالعَدل مِن غَير فَضل لا اِعتِداد بِهِ

وَالمَلك مِن غَير عَدل لا نَجاحَ لَه

وَالمَلك مِن غَير عَدل لا نَجاحَ لَه

For justice without generosity is of no account,

Justice without favor deserves no regard.

and sovereignty without justice cannot succeed.

And kingdom without justice has no success.
