    Benefits found in nothing else.

    Nor anything that robs the wise of their reason;

    Nor anything that, through folly, reduces a person

    To beasts grazing in their wilderness.

    Whose hills the rain's greetings have saluted.

    To us a sound report of their praise.

    That nurtured it—its sky envies the land for it.

    If pure gold is not found in it,

    Then surely its plant is the sweetest of its adornments.
