أَيا حسنَ حمّامٍ حَوى الحسن وَالبها

أَيا حسنَ حمّامٍ حَوى الحسن وَالبها

فَلا زال مِن عَين الحَسود سَليما

فَلا زال مِن عَين الحَسود سَليما

O lovely bathhouse, holding beauty and splendor!

O beauty of a bathroom that contains beauty and splendor

May it ever remain safe from the envious eye.

It has remained safe from the eye of the envious

سَما بَهجَةً بِالوارِدين وَزينة

سَما بَهجَةً بِالوارِدين وَزينة

كَأَن شُموساً أَشرَقَت وَنُجوما

كَأَن شُموساً أَشرَقَت وَنُجوما

It rose in splendor and adornment with its visitors,

It has brought joy to visitors and is an adornment

As though suns and stars had shone forth.

As if radiant suns and stars have risen

لأَحمَد آغا وَاِبن سلّومَ لَم تَزَل

لأَحمَد آغا وَاِبن سلّومَ لَم تَزَل

مَحامد تهديها الأَنامُ عُموما

مَحامد تهديها الأَنامُ عُموما

For Ahmad Agha and Ibn Sallum, there have always been

For Ahmed Aga and Ibn Salloum it has remained

Praises bestowed by humankind at large.

Praises guiding people generally

هُما أَنشآه طبق ما اِقتَرح المنى

هُما أَنشآه طبق ما اِقتَرح المنى

فَأَصبَح نَفعاً لِلدِيار عَميما

فَأَصبَح نَفعاً لِلدِيار عَميما

They both built it just as wishes had proposed,

They created it according to what the purpose suggested

So it became a widespread benefit to the land.

So it became beneficial to the lands universally

فَمن يَأتِهِ يَنظر عَلى النار جنّة

فَمن يَأتِهِ يَنظر عَلى النار جنّة

وَيَعجَبُ مِنها مَن يَكون حَكيما

وَيَعجَبُ مِنها مَن يَكون حَكيما

So whoever comes to it sees a paradise above the fire,

Whoever comes to see it looks upon paradise over the fire

And whoever is wise marvels at it.

And is amazed by it if he is wise

تُناجي أَنابيب المِياه حياضهُ

تُناجي أَنابيب المِياه حياضهُ

فَتسمع صَوتاً لِلرخام رَخيما

فَتسمع صَوتاً لِلرخام رَخيما

The water pipes whisper to its basins,

The water pipes whisper to its ponds

So you hear the marble's mellow voice.

So you hear a gentle sound from the marble

فَبادر لملقى الوارِدين مهنّئاً

فَبادر لملقى الوارِدين مهنّئاً

وَأَرّخ وردتم جَنَّةً وَنَعيما

وَأَرّخ وردتم جَنَّةً وَنَعيما

So hasten to meet the visitors, offering congratulations,

So greet the arriving visitors congratulating

And record its date: 'You have entered a paradise and bliss.'

And record your arrival to a paradise and bliss
