حسنfair الوَجهof face وَالشَمائلand character يَمّمseek out
حسن الوَجه وَالشَمائل يَمّم
فَهوَfor he فيamong الأَكرَمينthe noblest خَيرthe best وَجيهِdignitary
فَهوَ في الأَكرَمين خَير وَجيهِ
Seek the man fair of face and character;
The beauty of his face and character designated him
For among the noblest, he is the finest dignitary.
As the best and most respected among the generous
وَاِرجand expect فيin ساحةthe arena المَكارمof noble deeds مِنهُfrom him
وَاِرج في ساحة المَكارم مِنهُ
همّةlofty resolve الماجدof the illustrious man النَبيلthe noble النَبيهِthe eminent
همّة الماجد النَبيل النَبيهِ
And in the arena of noble deeds, expect from him
Go out into the field of virtues wearing it
The lofty resolve of an illustrious, noble, eminent man.
The ambition of the glorious, noble, and brilliant one
