God has clothed the tribe of Taghlib, daughter of Wa'il,
May God break the hands of the daughter of Wail
With claws of baseness, slow to fall off.
Whose slowly growing nails are so cowardly.

Whenever they leave an abode of humiliation, they reproach one another
When they departed from a house of disgrace, they disputed
For leaving it, and send some of their own back to beg its pardon.
Over it, some of them deeming it too little.
