مَنَعتَ عَطاءَنا وَلويتَ دَيني

مَنَعتَ عَطاءَنا وَلويتَ دَيني

وَأَعدَدتَ الخُصومَةَ لِلخَصيمِ

وَأَعدَدتَ الخُصومَةَ لِلخَصيمِ

You withheld our grant and delayed paying my due,

Prevented our gift and distorted my religion

And prepared a dispute for your adversary.

And prepared the dispute for the opponent

فَما لَكَ إِن لَويتَ الدَينَ عَنّي

فَما لَكَ إِن لَويتَ الدَينَ عَنّي

مُعاقَبَةٌ فيا لَكَ مِن غَريمِ

So, if you delay paying me the debt, you face no

So what do you have if you distorted religion from me
