أهلpeople of المحبّهlove بمجلىin the manifestation of اسمهHis name تاهواthey were lost
أهل المحبّه بمجلى اسمه تاهوا
لمّاwhen تجلّىHe revealed Himself وفيand in أسمائهHis names باهواthey gloried
لمّا تجلّى وفي أسمائه باهوا
The people of love were lost in the manifestation of His name,
The people of love in a gathering named Tahwa
when He revealed Himself, and they gloried in His names.
When it was revealed, and in His names they were awed
لمdid not يشهدواthey behold فيin هواهlove for Him الصرفpure إلّاexcept هوHe
لم يشهدوا في هواه الصرف إلّا هو
قامتit arose بهمwithin them حيثwherever قامواthey stood حينwhen قالواthey said هوHe
قامت بهم حيث قاموا حين قالوا هو
In pure love for Him, they beheld none but Him.
They witnessed in His love nothing but Him
It arose within them wherever they stood, when they said, “He.”
It supported them wherever they stood when they said "He"
