Our boon companion, cupbearer to the boon companions,
Our boon companion is the revelers' cupbearer,
amid tavern goblets brimming with wine:
In a tavern of cups of wine.

and in ardor they hunted the gazelles of Rāmah!
So it caught the gazelles of Rama in passionate longing.

A sun appeared from the heaven of exalted rank:
A sun that appeared from the heaven of lofty honors,
the best of masters, adornment of the Resurrection.

To his light, or became his young servant.
