سائلَ الفيضِ من بحور المسائلْ

سائلَ الفيضِ من بحور المسائلْ

رِدْ فإنّا لا ننهر الورد سائلْ

رِدْ فإنّا لا ننهر الورد سائلْ

O seeker of overflowing bounty from the seas of questions,

Ask the outpouring from the seas of questions,

Come to drink, for we do not rebuff a seeker of water.

Give back, for we do not forbid the asker of roses.

عارض الغير ليس يحجب عن شا

عارض الغير ليس يحجب عن شا

رب عين العيان عذب المناهل

رب عين العيان عذب المناهل

The cloud of otherness does not hide from one

The opposition of others does not veil from the perceptive

Drinking at the spring of direct vision the sweet waters of the watering places.

The Lord of eyewitnessing, the fresh springs.

وتوسّل بنا بما شئت فالقص

وتوسّل بنا بما شئت فالقص

د نجيحاً تلقاه عند الوسائل

د نجيحاً تلقاه عند الوسائل

And seek intercession through us for whatever you wish; then your aim

And plead through us however you wish, for the

You will find fulfilled through the means of approach.

Intention succeeding, you will receive it through the means.

وابشر ابشر وارقب شوارقَ أنوا

وابشر ابشر وارقب شوارقَ أنوا

ر المنى حيث أظهرتها الدلائل

ر المنى حيث أظهرتها الدلائل

And rejoice, rejoice, and watch for the dawning

And rejoice, rejoice, and watch the dawns of

Lights of hope, where the signs have revealed them.

Wish, where the proofs have shown them.

وابسط الكفّ والبيان عن الشك

وابسط الكفّ والبيان عن الشك

ر فقد أغدقت عليك المسائل

ر فقد أغدقت عليك المسائل

And open your hand and speak freely in

And extend the palm and eloquence from doubt,

Gratitude, for the questions have been lavished upon you.

For you have been given the questions abundantly.

وبمجلى الوصال كن خير راءٍ

وبمجلى الوصال كن خير راءٍ

إذ غدا الكلّ منك بالنطق واصل

إذ غدا الكلّ منك بالنطق واصل

And where union is revealed, be the finest beholder,

And in the gathering of union, be the best of seers,

For all have attained union through speech from you.

When all from you became connected through speech.

لك منّا ضوامر الغوث تعدو

لك منّا ضوامر الغوث تعدو

بالأعادي والبرُّ ملءُ الحواصل

بالأعادي والبرُّ ملءُ الحواصل

For you, lean steeds of succor from us gallop

For you from us are the helpers rushing

Against the foes, while bounty fills the crops.

Against enemies, and righteousness fills the connections.

أنت بدرٌ ونحن هالُكَ فاطلع

أنت بدرٌ ونحن هالُكَ فاطلع

في سماء العلاء يا بدر كامل

في سماء العلاء يا بدر كامل

You are a full moon, and we are your halo; so rise

You are a full moon, and we are its halo, so rise

In the sky of eminence, O perfect full moon.

In the sky of highest, O perfect full moon.

كلّ من كان أهله أهل بدرٍ

كلّ من كان أهله أهل بدرٍ

فالثريّا بكفّه متناوِل

فالثريّا بكفّه متناوِل

Whoever has the people of Badr for kin

Everyone whose people were people of Badr,

Can therefore grasp the Pleiades with his palm.

Then the elite by his palms is attainable.

فترفّع مزاحماً في المعالي

فترفّع مزاحماً في المعالي

للثريّا بمنكبٍ وبكاهل

للثريّا بمنكبٍ وبكاهل

So rise, vying in the heights

So he ascended, competing in the heights

With the Pleiades, with shoulder and upper back.

To the elite, by shoulder and arm.

وارو عنّي العلم اللدنيّ إذ ما

وارو عنّي العلم اللدنيّ إذ ما

ختم دنيّ فضّضته بالأنامل

ختم دنيّ فضّضته بالأنامل

And transmit from me divinely bestowed knowledge, for whatever

And quench from me the innate knowledge, when the

A lowly one sealed, I broke open with my fingertips.

Worldly ended, I opened it with fingers.

واشهد الحقّ فيك بالفرق حتّى

واشهد الحقّ فيك بالفرق حتّى

تشهد الجمع منك بالكلّ آيل

تشهد الجمع منك بالكلّ آيل

And behold the Truth within you through differentiation, until

And witness the truth in you of distinction, until

You behold unity issuing from you, with all returning.

The group from you testifies to all inclined.

وإذا جاء آخِرٌ لحمانا

وإذا جاء آخِرٌ لحمانا

ووفى بالعهود فاق الأوائل

ووفى بالعهود فاق الأوائل

And when a latecomer comes to our sanctuary

And if another comes protecting us

And keeps the covenants, he surpasses those who came first.

And fulfills covenants, surpassing the first.
