1. توسّلت بالبكريّ شمسِ الحقيقةِ

    إمامِ الهدى يهدي لأهدى طريقةِ

    I sought intercession through al-Bakri, the sun of Truth,

    the imam of guidance, who guides to the most rightly guided path.

  2. إمامٌ هدانا نهجه وجماله

    فحزنا به كلَّ الشؤون البديعةِ

    An imam whose path and beauty guided us;

    so through him we attained all wondrous states.

  3. ملاذٌ به لذنا لنحظى ببرّه

    عياذٌ لنا من مرجفاتٍ كريهة

    A refuge in whom we sheltered, to gain his goodness;

    a shelter for us from hateful, alarming reports.

  4. إلهيَ بالبكريّ مكّةِ أمننا

    أنلنا به أمناً لدى كلّ شدّةِ

    My God, by al-Bakri, the Mecca of our safety,

    grant us, through him, safety amid every hardship.

  5. إلهي بالبكريّ كعبةِ قصدنا

    ووجهتِنا وجّهْ لنا كلّ نفحة

    My God, by al-Bakri, the Kaaba of our aim,

    and our direction—send us every breath of grace.

  6. إلهي بالبكريّ ميقاتِ نسكنا

    أنلنا به التجريد عن كلّ شهوة

    My God, by al-Bakri, the miqat of our rites,

    grant us, through him, detachment from every desire.

  7. إلهي بالبكريّ ركنِ سعودنا

    أدم سعدنا دنيا ودار الأحبّة

    My God, by al-Bakri, the cornerstone of our good fortune,

    let our joy endure in this world and in the abode of loved ones.

  8. إلهي بالبكريّ ملتزم الرضا

    أنلنا التزام الرشد في كلّ لحظة

    My God, by al-Bakri, the Multazam of contentment,

    grant us adherence to right guidance at every moment.

  9. إلهي بالبكري حطيمِ حظوظنا

    أعنّا على كيد النفوس الغويّة

    My God, by al-Bakri, the Hatim of our self-interest,

    help us against the guile of wayward souls.

  10. إلهي بالبكريّ حجرِ وصالنا

    أجرنا من الأهوا وكلّ قطيعة

    My God, by al-Bakri, the Stone of our union,

    protect us from passions and every estrangement.

  11. إلهي بالبكريّ ميزابِ رحمةٍ

    أفض رحماتٍ منك من غير منّة

    My God, by al-Bakri, the waterspout of mercy,

    pour forth mercies from You, without reproach.

  12. إلهي بالبكريّ زمزمِ وردنا

    أنلنا ارتشافاً جامعاً كلّ منحة

    My God, by al-Bakri, the Zamzam of our drinking,

    grant us a sip encompassing every gift.

  13. إلهي بالبكري مقامِ وصالنا

    أقمنا على أعتاب رشدٍ وعزّة

    My God, by al-Bakri, the Station of our union,

    establish us at the thresholds of right guidance and dignity.

  14. إلهي بالبكريّ مسعى ظنوننا

    فحقّق لنا كلّ الظنون القويّة

    My God, by al-Bakri, the Mas'a of our expectations,

    so fulfill for us every firm expectation.

  15. إلهي بالبكري صفانا وصفوِنا

    فصفّ به منّا الفؤاد برشحة

    My God, by al-Bakri, our Safa and our purity,

    so purify, through him, the heart within us with a drop.

  16. إلهي بالبكريّ مروةُ أُنسنا

    أنلنا به نيل المعاني الرفيعة

    My God, by al-Bakri, the Marwa of our intimate joy,

    grant us, through him, attainment of lofty meanings.

  17. إلهي بالبكري مِنى كلّ قصدنا

    أنلنا المنايا واهباً بالعطيّة

    My God, by al-Bakri, the Mina of all our intent,

    grant us our fated ends, bestowing Your gift.

  18. إلهي بالبكريِّ مسجدِ خيفنا

    به خوفنا أمّن وجد بالمنيحة

    My God, by al-Bakri, the mosque of our Khayf,

    through him, allay our fear and be generous with a gift.

  19. إلهي بالبكريّ جد بازدلافنا

    وإرحم نفوساً كي تفوز بزلفة

    My God, by al-Bakri, be generous in drawing us near,

    and have mercy on souls, that they may attain nearness.

  20. إلهي بالبكري الرضى علمِ الهدى

    أنلنا به الأعلام من كلّ وجهة

    My God, by al-Bakri, the well-pleasing one, the beacon of guidance,

    grant us, through him, landmarks from every direction.

  21. إلهي بالبكري الزكي عرفاتِنا

    أنلنا به التعريفَ في كلّ رتبة

    My God, by al-Bakri, the pure one, our Arafat,

    grant us, through him, recognition at every rank.

  22. إلهي بالبكريِّ طيبةِ طيبِنا

    أنلنا به طيب الفتوح بسرعة

    My God, by al-Bakri, the Tayba of our sweetness,

    grant us, through him, the sweetness of spiritual openings swiftly.

  23. إلهي بالبكريِّ أقصى مرامنا

    أنلنا به أقصى القصور السنيّة

    My God, by al-Bakri, the Aqsa of our aspiration,

    grant us, through him, the remotest splendid palaces.

  24. إلهي بالبكريّ طورِ رشادِنا

    أنلنا به الأوطار من غير محنة

    My God, by al-Bakri, the Tur of our right guidance,

    grant us, through him, our wishes without tribulation.

  25. إلهي بالبكريّ مصباحِ عصرنا

    وبدر الهدى منهاج كلّ طريقة

    My God, by al-Bakri, the lamp of our age,

    and the full moon of guidance, the course of every spiritual path.

  26. إلهي بأشياخٍ لنا خَلْوَتِيَّةٍ

    بهم يُقتدَى في أمر كلّ رفيعة

    My God, by our Khalwati sheikhs,

    whose example is followed in every lofty pursuit.
