خوف رقيبٍ فتغاضى وراحْ
I have not forgotten him as he appeared, frowning
I did not forget him when he appeared frowning,
For fear of a watcher; then he averted his gaze and departed.
Fearing a watcher, so he pretended not to notice and went away,

شمساً تزيل الهمّ عنّا وراحْ
Carousing, he unveils upon his palm
Covered up, carrying in his palm
A sun that dispels our sorrow—and he departed.
A sun that takes away our worries and went away.
