إذا لم تكن أنت الدليل فلا هدى
وإنand if أنتyou لاnot تشفيyou heal منfrom الداءthe illness منwho يشفيheals
وإن أنت لا تشفي من الداء من يشفي
If you are not the guide, there is no guidance.
If you are not the guide, there is no guidance,
And if you do not cure illness, who will?
And if you do not cure the sick, who will cure?
فياso, O دعوةplea المضطرّthe distressed one قدindeed آنhas come وقتهاits time
فيا دعوة المضطرّ قد آن وقتها
وياand O بارئhealer الأسقامthe ailments جُدbestow generously ليَupon me باللطفwith kindness
ويا بارئ الأسقام جُد ليَ باللطف
So, O plea of the distressed, its time has come.
O plea of the distressed, it is time,
And O healer of ailments, bestow kindness upon me.
O Healer of the sick, be kind to me.
