على منبر العلياء جَدُّكَ يخطبُ

على منبر العلياء جَدُّكَ يخطبُ

وللبلدة العذراء سَيفُك يخطبُ

وللبلدة العذراء سَيفُك يخطبُ

On the pulpit of glory, your good fortune delivers an oration;

Upon the pulpit of the heights, your fortune delivers the sermon,

and your sword woos the virgin city.

And for the virgin city, your sword presses its suit.
