بِالراح صَفَت مَشارِعُ اللَذّاتِ

بِالراح صَفَت مَشارِعُ اللَذّاتِ

فاِستَشفِ بِشُربِها عَلى العِلّاتِ

فاِستَشفِ بِشُربِها عَلى العِلّاتِ

With wine, the watering places of pleasure have grown clear.

So seek healing against ailments by drinking it.

خُذها تَهَبُ الروحَ وَلا جسمَ لَها

خُذها تَهَبُ الروحَ وَلا جسمَ لَها

لا يُوصَف بِالجِسمِ قَديمُ الذاتِ

لا يُوصَف بِالجِسمِ قَديمُ الذاتِ

Take it: it bestows spirit, yet has no body.

What is eternal in essence is not described as a body.
