عِنوانُheading كِتابِbook حسنِهِhis beauty قَدalready تَمّاbecame complete
عِنوانُ كِتابِ حسنِهِ قَد تَمّا
With musk upon water, he adorned it with an inscription.
With musk on the water his features are outlined
The heading of the book of his beauty is now complete.
As the title page of his book of beauty perfected.
عَوَّلتُI relied عَلىupon صحيفةpage الحُسنbeauty وَلَوand if
عَوَّلتُ عَلى صحيفة الحُسن وَلَو
حكميmy decree نَفَذَtook effect اليَومtoday فَضَضتُI broke open الخِتماthe seal
حكمي نَفَذَ اليَوم فَضَضتُ الخِتما
I relied upon the page of beauty; and if
On the page of beauty I've placed all my hopes. Were
My decree took effect today, I would break the seal.
The time for my sentence by death to be executed, I'd die contented.
