The rose is wet with the sweat of its dew.
The rose with the sheen of its dew is drenched
Why is that, when its collar button is undone?
Yet what burden does its pocket carry sweetened?
اِشرَبdrink فَدَمُfor the blood of الزِقِّthe wineskin حَلالٌlawful هَدَرٌforfeit

Drink, for the wineskin’s blood is lawful and may be shed with impunity.
Drink the blood of the jugular - lawful, poured out
If this be not so, then my blood is forfeit.
But will this, my blood, be shed
