The predawn hours grew tender at the tale of my longing.
The dawns were softened by my longing tale
And the birds gave free rein to their yearning cries.
And unrestrained, the birds joined my wail

And dawn joined me, rending its collar.
As morning met me by the river bend
And the rain cloud's copious tears flowed.
Endless tears from the clouds did descend
