وَالبُلبُلُ غَنّاك بِصَوتٍ شاجِ
The branch has swayed like the side of one who hopes.
The branch has trembled like an arm of one who hopes
And the nightingale sang to you in a plaintive voice.
And the nightingale has sung your praises in a passionate voice
تاهَتtook pride قضبُstems الوَردِof the roses بِتاجٍin a crown عقدتthey wove

وَالطلُّ غَدا دُرَّةَ ذاكَ التاجِ
The rose stems took pride in a crown they had woven.
The stalk of the rose has wandered in a crown you have knotted
And the dew became the pearl of that crown.
And the dew has turned into a pearl upon that crown
