Return, return, for your promise is nothing but a debt.
Come back, come back, for your promise is a debt
And the eyes have found delight in you; may no evil eye befall you.
And my eyes yearn for you, I shall not forget

You drew the bow of parting to its limit, yet missed the mark.
Though lost you are, not reached by word or gaze
Where are my covenant, my bond of honor, and your solemn pledges?
Where is our pact, your oath - can this be your ways?
