بِالذاتin essence تَجَرَّدتَyou were incorporeal لَدىat the time of التَقديرordainment
بِالذات تَجَرَّدتَ لَدى التَقدير
وَالجِسمَand the body كَساكclothed you عالَمُthe realm of التَصويرِgiving form
وَالجِسمَ كَساك عالَمُ التَصويرِ
In essence, you were incorporeal at the time of ordainment.
I stripped myself of attributes when I was appraised
And the realm of form clothed you in a body.
And my body clothed me like a world of imagery
فيin التَصفيَةِpurification اِجتَهِدstrive لعمرٍfor a life ثانٍsecond
في التَصفيَةِ اِجتَهِد لعمرٍ ثانٍ
كالوردِlike the rose مصعّداًraised as vapor لَدىduring التَقطيرِdistillation
كالوردِ مصعّداً لَدى التَقطيرِ
Strive for a second life through purification,
Strive in purification for a second life
Like the rose, raised as vapor during distillation.
Like a rose elevated in distillation
